CLEP English Composition Course
This course has a two-fold objective. Students will prepare for the CLEP examination in English Composition with Essay, while simultaneously developing college level essay writing skills.
Writing is a highly individualized pursuit. Each student has a unique perspective as well as unique strengths and weaknesses. This is reflected in the structure of this course. There will be two sessions on the eduFire platform each week; these sessions will highlight specific writing and test taking strategies and allow students and instructor to interact with one another in real time.
Students will have opportunities outside of class to communicate with the instructor individually about their writing. They will also have access, outside of scheduled class times, to multimedia resources. All materials (with the exception of the $10 Official College Board Guide) are included in the price of the course.

Expository Writing Class for Elementary Students
This class is designed to help elementary students make the transition from paragraphs to multi-paragraphs essays and from simple topic sentences to introductions that hook the reader. Help your child prepare for writing assessments, middle grade writing classes -- and real-world communication.
Narrative Writing Class for Elementary Students
You may know The Stories Julian Tells. What of the stories your own child tells? We all know the wonderful imaginations children possess! This course is designed to help aspiring young story writers. Students will learn about writing traits and storytelling elements as they create and revise their own short narratives. They will learn from a professional educator... and from the master storytellers whose books we will discuss in class. For homeschoolers and other 'serious' writers in the middle and upper elementary grades.

SAT Essay Class
Many excellent writers struggle with the SAT reasoning exam the first time around. That's because writing a 25 minute SAT essay requires a slightly different set of skills than crafting a research paper or story. Fortunately, it is possible to prepare for the essay without knowing the prompt. This six session class helps students understand the ins and outs of SAT essay writing as well as giving them ample opportunity to practice their skills.
